What can I make using soft shell tortillas?!

Question: I want to make something using them. No tacos. Any wrap ideas?

I make breakfast wraps with mine. Scramble some eggs up with some cheese...and anything else you want to add in there...ham, bacon, peppers...etc. and then wrap it up.
My husband loves them. It's a little different from the everyday ho hum eggs and toast.
I also make Quesadillas with them...chicken or steak. Very easy and very yummy!

For breakfest-
Cooked eggs (anything that you like in eggs) and sasa.. just put that in the tortillas. And its amazing!

Wrap-Ups

use whipped cream cheese with chives and spread it over the stof shell tortillas. then add some shredded lettuce, cheese, and a couple pieces of ham (the whole slice, dont chop). then roll tightly and put saren wrap around tightly. then put in fridge. about 10-20 mins later, take out, unwrap and enjoy. you can cut up the wrap ups if you would like or just leave them whole.

Quesedillas: cheese, chicken or steak super easy. you can evan fold it over and microwave until the cheese melts.

You can put the tortilla in a pan and put some chesse. Make a pizza.

Do you like fish? Fry a piece of fillet...catfish strips are great. Either batter fry them or season with herbs and saute them. Then place them in a tortilla and mix together mayo and shredded cabbage (some will add a bit of salsa to this). Place mixture on top of fish and enjoy.

This is a pretty low fat dessert idea that we make a lot. I use a pizza cutter and slice them into strips. Put them on a cookie sheet in a single layer. Spray with a little Pam then sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. I like them like this. My daughter dips hers in low fat vanilla yogurt.

Because I have a child filling a tortilla full of stuff doesn't really work. But I will spread on some herbed cheese and cuckes. Roll them up, let sit in the fridge for about an hour and slice.

veggie ranch roll-up:

8oz cream cheese softened
1/2 cup sour cream
1 pkg dry hidden valley ranch dressing or dip mix
soft tortillas
shredded cheddar cheese
lettuce
chopped onion or any other veggies (optional)

Mix cream cheese, sour cream and ranch until smooth. Spread mix on tortillas then sprinkle with cheddar cheese and lettuce and roll up. You can add any of your favorite veggies. I make these at parties and there are never any leftovers. ENJOY!!

Steak-um roll-ups:

My daughter loves steak-um with cheese wrapped in soft tortillas. I bet sloppy joe would be good that way too.

Sloppy Joes In Soft Corn Tortillas

A new version of the sloppy joe sandwhich. Eat this as a wrap and maybe it won’t be as sloppy.

Ingredients
4 white corn tortillas
1 lb. ground beef or ground turkey
1 can sloppy-joe sauce (such as Hunt's) or 1 package sloppy-joe mix
1 C. shredded sharp cheddar

Directions
Preheat oven to 300°F. Wrap all the tortillas tightly together in foil and place in oven for 5 minutes. In a medium skillet, brown the beef or turkey. Add the sloppy-joe sauce (or seasoning, tomato paste, and water, according to the label directions). Place 1 tortilla on each plate. Spoon the sloppy-joe mixture evenly onto each tortilla. Divide the cheddar evenly among the tortillas and fold them over.

Taco bell mexican pizza recipe

1/2 pound ground beef
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon dried minced onion
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
2 tablespoons water
8 small, 6 inch diameter, flour tortillas
1 cup Crisco shortening or cooking oil
1, 16 oz., can refried beans
1/3 cup diced tomato
2/3 cup mild picante salsa
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1/4 cup sliced black olives

Cook the ground beef over medium heat until brown, then drain off the excess fat from the pan.
Add salt, onions, paprika, chili powder and water, then let mixture simmer over medium heat for about 10 minutes. Stir often.
Heat oil or Crisco shortening in a frying pan over medium high heat.
When oil is hot, fry each tortilla for about 30 to 45 seconds per side and set aside on paper towels.
When frying each tortilla, be sure to pop any bubbles that form so that tortilla lays flat in oil. Tortillas should become golden brown.
Heat up refried beans in a small pan over the stove or in the microwave.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
When meat and tortillas are done, stack each pizza by first spreading about 1/3 cup refried beans on face of one tortilla.
Spread 1/4 to 1/3 cup of meat, then another tortilla.
Coat your pizzas with two tablespoons of salsa on each, then split up the tomatoes and stack them on top.
Divide up the cheese, onions and olives, stacking in that order.
Place pizzas in your hot oven for 8 to 12 minutes or until cheese on top is melted.
