Nothing special I'll just be having soup and sandwiches, no family so no hassle.
We got a ham from HoneyBaked Hams. Not Easter without it. Side dishes are cheesy potatoes, corn, cinnamon apples.
We have gone to my mothers for so long and she makes the same things (side dishes) as she does for Christmas and Thanksgiving. Sometimes excluding the stuffing.
She makes a chunky mashed potatoes. (Doesn't whip the potatoes to the point of being really creamy or smooth) Two vegetables, usually broccoli. (It's my favorite) Maybe corn or peas. Also cranberry sauce from a can, deviled eggs, (especially for Easter) a dish of a few kinds of pickles, another of olives and maybe peppers, possibly cottage cheese, sliced cheeses, crackers, pepparoni, the main meat (ham or turkey) and etc.
It does sound like a lot, but really it is easy. We are going to make up the eggs this year as well as bring in all the pickles and olives. (She wants some pickled eggs this year also. YUCK!)
Good luck and have a great night.
