Does Anyone have any good recipes (dessert) that don't use a lot of one thing?!
I have some really good recipes, but they want 4 cups of whipping cream or 3 or more cups of 10%! It's not that i can't afford it, I just don't like to use too much, since i like using 10% for coffee, and whipping cream for dressing. It doesn't have to even have cream in the recipe, it was just an example. I have a family of four and we don't eat that much very often, so using so much of one thing on something that will not even be eaten is silly.
Thanks! I hope some people have some great ideas!!!
Answers: I'm just looking around for some really good recipes that are really tasty and aren't based too much on one ingredient.

why don't you make a banana creme pie. all you need is a store bought pie shell.. less than 2 bucks, a box of pudding and a can of whip cream. sliced bananas help. if you add vanilla extract to this it will make it taste like you made it from scratch,
you can so this will vanilla wafers, pudding, whip cream and bananas and make a little casserole.
you don't need a lot of one ingredient for this and it is inexpensive as well
Buy a graham cracker crust, fill with pkgd. pudding mix, any flavour and top with Cool Whip. 6 servings.

Well in the summer time for a desert i usually make smoothies. (I use a Magic Bullet which isnt that bad, or u can use regular blender)
- a handful of Europes Best fruit *frozen* (strawberries, raspberries)
- a scoop of vanilla yogurt
- and a tab of orange juice
* blend all ingrdients together tell smooth and pour into glass
~ another thing i make is similar to Wendy's frosty's and all u need is:
- Nesquick chocolate syrup
- and vanilla icecream
* blend together and it makes it smooth
