Butter or olive oil?!

Question: Which is better for sauteed mushrooms?

Answers: Which is better for sauteed mushrooms?

butter is better for sauted mushroom but if ur health consience then go for olive oil

I would say butter. I think it makes the mushrooms less greasy and adds a nice flavour. I would put olive oil on a cold salad with mushrooms, but not to saute.

Butter will give your food the best taste and a wonderful golden crust but burns more easily. Olive oil produces a nice crust and will not burn as quickly, but also doesn’t leave as rich a flavor or color as butter alone. But you can use a combination of the two.

butter enhances the flour of the mushrooms, olive oil just kills it.

butter!!!!!

butter.
no question.
the temoerature you saute them at is different for each.
the flavor is, too.
butter is SO MUCH better for this.

Butter.

I would use a half half mix.. plop 1 tsp butter just for flavor in a saute pan, and drizzle some olive oil (and the best thing is add a chopped piece of garlic) then gently saute mushrooms, dont turn up high or the oil/butter will smoke and burn...
mmmm!.. tastes great with scrambled eggs and tomatoes for breakfast...

I choose olive oil

I prefer Butter
