Bake in foil, delicious.

well u could just wash them and boil them. or just pop them in the microwave and put some tinfoil over them. thats wat i do and they taste the same. or u could fry them and make like hashbrown tatertot thingys

Baked potatoes are always great. Scrub them well, then poke with a fork 7-8 times. Put about 3 in the microwave, tips together. Microwave on high for about 5 minutes, then put the other tips together, and microwave on 5 minutes more.

Here another couple recipes:

Mashed potatoes
Cut, cube and boil 5 pounds russet potatoes until the biggest cube you can find breaks apart when you put a fork through it. Drain. Use a whole cube of real butter and just enough light cream to make them fluffy. Mash with a hand mixer until there are no lumps. Be patient, this may take a while. yummy!

Best Fancy Mashed Potatoes
5 lb mashed potatoes peeled, cooked
1 stick real butter
8 oz cream cheese
8 oz sour cream
Half and half
salt and pepper
1/2 to 1 cup shredded sharp cheese

Mash potatoes with the butter and a little half and half. Add the rest of ingredients, except cheese, and continue to mash until cream cheese is melted and potatoes are fluffy. Put in casserole dish and cover with sharp cheese. Bake at 350 until cheese is melted and heated through.

Very rich, but wonderful!!

Hope you enjoy!

Well you could drizzle some olive oil over them salt & pepper and roast them for about 20-25 minutes. Or peel them cut them into chunks and boil them until a fork goes into them easily. Take big ones and wrap them in tin foil and make baked potatoes.

depends when you want to eat them doesnt it?
and what way you want to cook them? roast ,mashed , boiled

first (if your using old potatoes and not new ) peel them..............cut into half then into quarters, put in pan.........cover with water..............boil for 10mins if you want to roast them............about 20 mins if you want Boiled or mashed.
if your roasting them, after you have boiled for 10 mins, drain the water off, put in a roasting tin that has been heated up with a little oil in it...........turn potatoes over in the oil and put into oven, to roast, takes between 30-45 mins on gas 6

there are a million and one ways to cook a potato. specify what way you want yours done before asking

If you want to make mashed simply peel or dont peel the potatoes (depending on your preference), after you wash them very very good. Cut them up into about 8 pieces each and put them in boiling water. When you can stick a fork through them they are ready. Then get a potato masher, a wisk or a hand mixer and mix them while adding heavy whipping cream until its the consistancy you prefer. When doing baked potatoes, wash them and then wrap them in tin foil... preheat the oven to 375 and bake for an hour and 20 minutes (for medium potatoes) increase the cooking time or decrease the cooking time depending on the potato. A good tip though... when making mashed, use red potatoes... they are better. Another way I would cook them is by cutting red potatoes into about 6 pieces each and putting a handful of them wrapped in tinfoil with salt, pepper, butter and garlic minced. make sure it is air tight so it boils... adding onions is good too. preheat the oven to 350 and let cook for 25-30 minutes.

I am the potato queen

you could boil them, bake them in the oven, or microwave.
to boil them, you usually just get a big pot with filling it up with alot of water. then bring it to a boil, you peel the potatoes, and maybe slice them into chips to make it easier to cook. once they are soft, you can mashed them or do whatever. if you want to bake them, you need a cookie sheet, a fork , and aluminum foil. you take the potatoe and poke it with alot of holes, then wrap it up in foil. then cook it for like 45 minutes or until soft. and you do the same thing for microwave. :)

soak them tonight and cook tomorrow

I will make a mash with them. Nice and thick home style.

Big Idahos. Wash, puncture with a fork, Wrap in paper napkin. Microwave on high 4 1/2 minutes, flip and rotate 90 degrees, continue microwaving 4 1/2 minutes.

Is there another way and kind?
