leave it wrapped and under cold running water. it won't spoil that way and will defrost quick.

Put it in a slow cooker overnight with apple juice that way it won't dry out.

Have it sit in cold water in the sink and soak it...than when you go to bed put it in the fridge...

Heres what I do when I forget to defrost something I: I fill up my kitchen sink with hot water and let it sit in there, after leave it out, it should be ready to cook tomarrow but it may take a little longer. You can cover it with foil while it cooks so it Will cook on the inside and not burn on the out.

I agree with letting it run under cold water to get it to start to thaw; if you can't watch it for too long, let it thaw in the fridge. Just remember that sanitation rules will tell you want to avoid the temperature danger zone (40-140 F) for more than 4 hours to prevent any sort of food borne illnessess.
