Is it wrong to eat fish and chips on easter sunday?!

Question: or do you thing a roast dinner is more apropriate

Answers: or do you thing a roast dinner is more apropriate

Very Wrong. Now when you die, your going to have to face God and explain this idiotic choice you made.

Fish should have been eaten on Good Friday.

why would it be wrong, i am having soup and salad here, no big meal or nothing, just enjoy what you want to eat.

I think you can eat whatever you want for Easter Sunday. I just ate bunny ears for breakfast...hey, it's a holiday!
Enjoy!

ahhhhh
fish and chips you cant beat it

either one
they're both delicious
it's not Wrong* to eat fish and chips over a roast dinner on easter sunday* unless you have a certain custom you have to follow for easter...

eat deviled eggs and drink Bloody Mary's

eat whatever u want its up to you!!!!!

No.
Enjoy.
You have made me feel hungry!

It all depends on who you are cooking for? If it's your parents or someone special, then I'd go all out to do a fabulous meal. If it's just you and your mates, eat what you like. Let's face it, Jesus did break the bread and ended up feeding thousands with 5 loaves and 3 fish or whatever it was?!!

I couldn't see anything wrong with it.

(aside from the fact that fish and chips are very fattening...but also very tasty)

nah...i know loadza ppl sure having sunday dinner but...it doesn't matter lol im having soup

Eat whatever you like and enjoy. I am making veggie buffet for my vegetarian daughters. What i wouldn't give for fish, chips and mushy peas.

It's not 'wrong', but Good Friday is traditionally a 'fish' day since fish isn't considered meat by Catholics that still practice fasting on Good Friday.

I suppose you can eat anything you want. Why not boil a rabbit, and eat some of that.

Lamb is traditional , it being the start of spring , someone should tell the weather that

Not at all...Eat what you like

Sounds good for easter sunday :)

You can eat anything you want on Easter Sunday, there is nothing written in stone as to what you should eat.

no you can eat whatever you want

no! its not at all! =]

never wrong to eat fish and chips you do what you like and don't let anyone tell you any different we don't all have to be sheep!i had a bacon and mushroom sarnie for my brunch today

eat what you like, i had a chinese takeaway for christmas.

We are having Pizza and Knishes.

ah, eat what you want...if your cooking than they need to bring their own or not come.

You can eat whatever you want...
Sure if you're religious you might WANT to eat a roast or something...but I don't think it's a necessity. Especially if you're a student, or on a budget! I know that when I'm at Uni I'll probably end up with a take-away or something like that at Easter!

We had grilled Chicken and Salad nice and easy, its a holiday ...I dont want to be slaving in the kitchen all day!!

Its not wrong to have Fish and Chips , eat what you like!!

Eat whatever you like, there are no restrictions..

you have what ever you want I'm having bacon buts with hp brown sauce

I love fish and chips, any time :) Enjoy it

Have what you like - the only thing Easter means nowadays except to the religious stalwarts is Chocolate! We're going to have a big pan of mince which I've just done with carrots, turnips, parsnips and two kinds of lentils, and when we're almost ready to dine I shall be chucking a few dumplings in too. That lot will be served with baby new potatoes and peas. That will be followed by Simnel Cake which I baked yesterday - complete with the eleven marzipan balls on top.
As you can tell, we're on a starvation diet in this house.....

I'm not aware of any restrictions that would make eating fish & chips on Easter Sunday inappropriate, in any way.

For anyone in Toronto who wants a fix, British Style Fish & Chips on 73 Coxwell Avenue is the best spot in town. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it...!
