Of course you can cook eggs in the dishwasher-just don't use soap and use the highest setting. You can cook several dozen this way.

The dishwasher is also great for poaching/steaming large fish like whole salmon.

uhhhm heck no> wow..now we know who didnt graduate:]

Can't see why not, but why would you want to do this? Uses far more power and water than a simple saucepan on a cooktop.

I suggest no. Even if you did you would have soap suds on your egg and I presume a cracked egg. The dishwasher would not be able to supply enough heat to cook the egg. For water to boil it has to reach 100 degrees celcius so thats when and egg will boil over. A dishwashers water heat would not be boiling or even 70 degrees celcius. Because otherwise when your dishes came out you would have to wait at least 30 minutes before they cooled down before putting them away.

Not recommended. The jets would rattle them too much and then you will have a nasty mess in your dishwasher. Also, the chemicals in there could permeate the shells and give your eggs a lovely chlorine flavor.

you cant but it will taste nasty

I dont think so that is so weird doing in dishwasher

Nope, but you can boil eggs in the microwave. Just get as many eggs as you would like to eat and cook them for 2 mins, and add 30 seconds for each additional egg. You won't require water or anything, simply place your eggs on a plate and enjoy!! :)

sure! if you plan on moving the next day!

you can but i wouldnt.i juaat finished making my eggs in REGULAR WATER. some people might like to eat theirs so dont make it in dishwater.but if you want sure

no it would blow up, ofcourse you already knew that!

no........
