Its 10pm and I am hungry but I don't want to cook anything, no sandwich meat in the house. any suggestions!

when i have a craving like that i eat a spoon of peanut butter but that just makes me crave even more! lol. umm.... you can have a bowl of cereal or some fruit. Because its late you should just eat something light.

Do you have crackers, peanut butter, or cheese? You could have peanut butter on crackers, or (this may sound strange, but it tastes good) if you have any bananas, take one, peel it, spread some peanut butter on it. It's a healthy snack.
Or, cheese and crackers..
Or, if you have cereal, a bowl of cereal is a good snack.
Ice cream, frozen yogurt, etc. are okay too.

What do you want, something to ease hunger pains or comfort food? If my stomach is growling, I lean toward Risc crackers and cream cheese. Risc crackers are buttery and soft rather than dry and hard like soda crackers. I like that buttery taste with small amount of cream cheese. If I am in the mood for some comfort food, then I go to the point of using my frying pan. I know you said no cooking, but making a grilled cheese sandwich is not what I consider real cooking. I use sourdough with a combination of American and cheddar cheese and real butter, of course. There is simply NO substitute for real butter and the smooth, creamy warm cheese in a grilled cheese sandwich late at night, when it is cold and dark outside...
