Happy Easter! How long do I cook a ham? What do I make a glaze with?!
if not..depends on how big your ham is.
to baste...put some pineapple juice into a bowl, add some brown sugar, combine till it makes a glaze, keep basting the ham while cooking ..you can also add rings of pineapple around the ham using toothpicks to hold in place*
Answers: is it already cooked and you just heat it through??

First of all I put ham in oven on 200 for about 4 hours its great. slow and low heat. glaze with brown sugar and butter heat in pan then paint it on ham.I hope its not late good luck.
My mom usually boils the ham for about 2 hours and then bake for another hour or hour and a half. She glazes it with orange juice mixing with brown sugar. Once she did it with honey, and it was good but we like the orange juice and sugar better.
Roasted Ham with Creole Glaze
Adapted from Williams-Sonoma
1 cooked half ham, 3 1/2 - 5 pounds
1 cup water
1/2 cup cane syrup or golden syrup or a substitution as outlined here - look for golden syrup
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
1/2 tsp ground cloves
pinch of allspice
Place a rack in the lower third of the oven and preheat to 350 degrees.
Line a small roasting pan with a long piece of foil, add the ham and score it, if not using a spiral cut. Pour the water into the pan, pull up the excess foil and close tightly. Roast for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, make the glaze. Put all the remaining ingredients in a small saucepan, whisk well to blend and cook over medium-low heat until warm. Remove from heat.
Generously brush the ham with some of the glaze and return to the oven. Roast, uncovered, for 45 minutes or until ham is warmed through, brushing with more glaze every 15 minutes.
Let ham rest 10 - 15 minutes before serving.

Honey Glazed Ham
"This ham tastes very much like the famous honey baked ham but costs much less, and there's no need to fight the crowds at holiday time. You can even buy the ham presliced to make it easier and more like the original. It is very good. (I do this while preparing the rest of the meal in the kitchen so that I don't forget to baste!)"

Original recipe yield: 12 servings

5 pounds ready-to-eat ham
1/4 cup whole cloves
1/4 cup dark corn syrup
2 cups honey
2/3 cup butter
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).

Brush glaze over ham, and bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes in the preheated oven. Baste ham every 10 to 15 minutes with the honey glaze. During the last 4 to 5 minutes of baking, turn on broiler to caramelize the glaze. Remove from oven, and let sit a few minutes before serving
