Does anyone use pepsi when baking a ham?!

Question: This sounds like poop to me.

Answers: This sounds like poop to me.

Yes, you can use pepsi or coke when baking a ham. I also use beer, which makes it very moist and delicous.

ginger ale, but not pepsi

I've marinated a London Broil in Dr Pepper and it turns out juicy and sweet. And the drippings make GREAT gravy!

I've used coke before the soda keeps the ham moist. just cover the pan with foil, but loose enough not to touch the ham. Pepsi is a form of cola so it should work similarly. If you want a sweet glaze on the outside you cna also use syrup.

Using pepsi is like following the a-la-orange recipe which uses a citric and sugar to marinate a ham or a bird. Actually comes out well.

I use coca cola.

Ive never used pepsi, but I have used Dr Pepper, and it is yummy, it really makes the ham juicy....

cherry pepsi or cherry coke is good also..with a little brown sugar...make like a paste...make x's across the top of the ham and add for flavor

I use coca cola aswell, gives a great taste, also cover with mustard and brown sugar.

dr. pepper or root beer are the ones that give the ham the best flavor. coke { or ..yuck..pepsi..yuck..} give it moisture and a good glaze, but the other 2 give it glaze and flavor. add some clove and garlic to add flavor also.
