Good fillings for tortilla wraps?!

Question: I'm thinking tuna but that's a bit boring!

Answers: I'm thinking tuna but that's a bit boring!

Yes definately:

Chicken, sour cream, tomato salsa or tangy tomato salsa, (mixed pepper & mushrooms cooked in frying pan with a liitle oil and maybe a tiny bit of chille sauce)

alternatively you could add a little cheese or guacomol sauce

you could you chicken, or small strips of beef, or lamb maybe, id suggest try the chicken then the beef first!

just be creative with it!

chicken with feta and spinach is gorgeous!!! or....try el pasco sause or seasoning with chicken and peppers...

Crunchy salad - stir fried chicken - and sweet chili sauce - with red onion slices - if you are feeling really brave - add some Houmous as well. You get a sweet hot and garlic tasteburst.

No it's not. Tuna's good but add things to it like, finely chopped green pepper, long green onions, etc. Then add some shredded cheese (any flavour) and top it with shredded lettuce. I've done that and it's soooooo goooooood. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!

i love beef, with a nice cucumber and mayo sauce

turkey, cheese, lettuce, julienne carrot, italian dressing, tomato.

beans, sauteed ground beef with mexican seasonings, sour cream, guacamole, spicy salsa and shredded cheese...its delicious! Or you can try sauteed chicken strips (saute in light soy sauce and ground cayenne pepper) with sauteed onions, green and red peppers. Yet another option if you are feeling lazy...buy that pre-cooked chicken they have at tesco (they come it strips, there are healthy living ones), put lots of shredded cheese on the tortilla, top with the chicken and any vegetable you like (red and green peppers, courgettes, onions, etc.) wrap it up and microwave until the cheese melts...really tasty and healthy too! Enjoy! * To make sure it's always a little healthier regardless of what fillings you use try to find the whole grain wraps!

bashed avocado pear, with salt pepper and some chilli,

mixed up with some pan fried chicken strips, should be pan fried with some olive oil...

sounds good to me..

Go to store and get a pre-roasted chicken. Break chicken down and chop or shred. Discard skin and fat.

small dice red onions fresh garlic and celery. Seed 2 medium tomato's and chop. Take 2 to 3 avocados peel and mash with lemon juice salt and pepper and 1tea spoon of Dijon mustard.
1 large or 2 medium carrots shredded 1/4 cup Kalamata olives pitted or pitted olives of your choice.

Combine all ingredients. It should come out with the consistency of chicken salad. If dry add a little olive oil to taste.

Get a fresh lettuce like butter lettuce or even shredded cabbage. Line tortilla with lettuce or cabbage. Will insulate tortilla from becoming soggy. Place chicken salad on lettuce and roll leaving one side open, or close completely and cut on the bias. Serve with pasta salad or potato salad and a couple of porcini peppers. Enjoy

Flavored tortilla
herbed cream cheese spread
sliced turkey, chicken or ham
long thin strips of peppers, cucumbers, carrots and/or celery seasoned with balsamic vinaigrette and pepper

mm-mm good! And very healthy!

chicken tortilla wraps

Ingredients:
4 tortilla wraps

2 Somerfield chicken breasts

1 bag mixed peppers – red, yellow, green

1 red onion

150ml pot natural yogurt

30ml (2tbsp) fresh Somerfield coriander

Method
Cut the chicken into strips. Core, deseed and cut the peppers into strips. Peel and cut the onion into thin wedges.

Griddle the chicken until cooked through, keep warm. Repeat with the peppers and onion, they should be slightly charred but still crunchy. Mix together the yogurt and chopped coriander.

Quickly griddle the wraps on each side. Divide the chicken and vegetables between the wraps, spoon over the yogurt sauce, wrap and enjoy

So many options...

Vegetarian: grilled eggplant, roasted peppers, sundried tomatoes, mozzarella cheese with some vinaigrette

Caesar: strips of chicken breast (frozen, fresh, or store bought), shredded parmesan, lettuce, caesar salad dressing

TexMex: refried beans, chopped meat, salsa, jack cheese, spanish rice, lettuce, tomato, dip into some sour cream.

Honey Mustard: chicken breast, lettuce, tomato, mustard dressing

Tuna: nothing wrong with tuna but you can jazz it up with different cheeses, olives, maybe mix it with vinaigrette instead of mayo

a general idea is to take chicken and mix it with different salad dressings...
i am getting hungry now

I had tortilla wraps yesterday. The things we put out for people to have in them were celery, cucumber, tomatoes, ham, chicken, sausages, cheese, tuna, pringles (any crisps is actually really nice in one although it sounds weird) and then mayonaise, salad cream and pickle. You can have anything you want really. These are just naming a few!
