Seasoning for chili?!

Chili powder and cumin are the major ingredients, in about equal portions. Then about half that much garlic and oregano, and just a little bit of cinnamon.

I just use the basic chili powder.

The main one is chili powder...then some paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, and well hot pepper flakes and a bit of hot red pepper powder (if you want a bit of kick to it, if not then leave that out). I also add a bit of sugar (white or brown) to take any "bitterness" out of it, like just a few teaspoons.

i like it hot, so I use a LOT of chilli powder. I also add cayenne, onion powder and garlic paste. it makes the flavor richer. For that extra zing, try adding lemon juice....but be careful with the amount....

Chili Seasoning Mix

1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. cumin powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Optional:
1 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes


Spicy Chili Seasoning Mix

Ingredients
# 1 cup sweet green chili pepper flakes
# 3/4 cup chili powder
# 1/4 cup ground cumin
# 1/2 cup onion flakes
# 1/4 cup parsley flakes
# 1 teaspoon dried garlic
# 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Directions

1.Mix all ingredients place in an air tight container.
2.Store in a cool, dark dry place for up to 2 months.

chili powder,garlic powder,salt,black pepper,cumin,onion powder,crushed red pepper and cayenne pepper.use only the amount that you like or season to taste

I like to put in some GOYA Salsita made from Ancho peppers

I mostly use an envelope of chili seasoning.
But I sometimes use chili powder, cumin, garlic and a shot of tabasco.

When you brown the meat, put chopped onion and green pepper with it...it adds GREAT flavor.
