Was it ok that my bean sprouts that I had for lunch still had the seed part connected to them?!

I cut it off, because I didn't think it was ok, but the deli must have thought it was ok. They had a bunch of it in the container for all to enjoy. I haven't ever seen it like that.

Yes it is edible, it is just the seed.

It is just a little more fiber - it won't harm you.

oh yes...they are healthy too!
