What is the best way to re-heat pork?!

Question: I had a good pork roast yesterday but it came out a little dry (that's the curse of pork I guess, hard to avoid). How do I re-heat it today so that it doesn't become tough and too hard to chew? I don't want to microwave it. I could do it in the toaster oven but I don't think that will restore any moisture. Is there a microwave setting or broil setting I should use?

You should reheat it with moisture. Either in something like gravy/sauce. Or you can steam it (in a veg steamer).

If your pork is coming out dry you are probably over cooking it. Pork shouldn't be cooked past the recommended doneness for the cut. Always take pork out when it is 5 degrees less than the correct temp, tent it and let it set. It will finish cooking and reach a safe temperature.

perhaps put the sliced pork in some tinfoil
if you have some pineapple juice ..or ? apple juice put a lil ontop of pork
perhaps a slice of pineapple also*
(or applesauce)ontop of pork slices
Wrap in tinfoil
put in 350F oven for about 15min to heat through ..should be Moist* with the liquid* and the heat in the tinfoil acts like a steam*

hope it works out for you*

you should place it in the oven and cook it untill it is inturaly 150 degree's..

I would not microwave it. That makes it tough to chew and rubbery and gives it an awful taste. I would put in in the oven on 350 for about 15 to 20 minutes. That should keep it juicy not dry and will heat it all the way through. As a matter of fact, I did that to pork chops and ribs yesterday. They tasted as good as the day they were cooked.

Steam it.

Either heat it with gravy ,or wrap in aluminum foil and steam. You need to keep moisture in.
