Swedish Meatball Recipe for crock pot?!
Answers: My husband would like me to make Swedish Meatballs for him using grape jelly as one of the ingredients? I have never heard of this before....are they good? Would you share your recipe for them along with a good way to serve them? Thanks!
Grape Jelly meatballs are great- but not swedish ( the swedish meatballs have a gravy) The best recips is to simply buy a bag of frozen meatballs, put in the crockpot and pour over 1 jar heinz chili sauce and 1 jar grape jelly. Cook on low for four hours and Enjoy!
Swedish meatballs and the kind made with grape jelly are totally different. Swedish meatballs have a cream base, and are good served with egg noodles or rice. The kind made with grape jelly are more of a BBQ'd version, and do well with roasted or baked potatoes.
