How do you cook healthy brown rice..same way as white?!

I think it tastes beter, but it's a bit more heavy in the stomach than white rice.
You cook it the same way, but typically with a slight bit more water (not much more).
It goes very well with chicken roasted with a bit of salt, pepper and thyme.

Yep, it may take a minute or two longer, it tastes good. I swapped to brown a few years ago and my fmaily didn't really notice. Add chilli flakes, freshly ground black pepper or whatever you like to liven it up.
Brown rice has a nuttier flavour than white, it also takes twice as long to cook. approx 30 - 35 mins simmering. have it with anything you like, its so versatile.

For added taste you could try adding a stock cube to the water you boil in.
Always test a grain before eating, just see if it squashes down with a knife, if it has a hard bit that doesnt squash, this means its not done and needs to boil for longer. Test the grains every 5 mins (longer then white) you boil for.

Cook brown rice the same way as white rice but with more water and for a bit longer.
Don't use a rice cooker for brown rice. It will make a big mess !
A shot glass 25ml is a good measure for a small single portion but experiment with how much is suitable for yourself.
A little coconut milk added late into the cooking process can add flavour without adding much fat.
Or serve with peas or vegetables mixed in. Takes away the blandness and gives it colour and texture for variety.
As others indicated, it takes a bit longer. It will be chewier than white rice.
Try using different stocks/broths in place of water. Mushroom stock, chicken stock, etc.
I love to start off by slowly sauteing some finely chopped onion in just a bit of olive oil (caramelize it even). When it is soft and yummy, add your broth or water, bring to a boil, then add your rice. The onion adds a great flavor
By "brown rice" I suppose you mean the unpolished form of white rice (White rice grains with the bran still on it), not what they sell as "wild rice" (which is really a grass seed. Tasty and nutritious, but not really the same thing)
If you do mean the unpolished rice, you need to add about 10% more water than for the polished white rice, and it will take longer to cook, but you can do it exactly the same way as for the white rice.
It works best if you let the brown rice sit in the water for at least 30 minutes before you start cooking it.
I like it better than white rice - more of an al dente texture, and a slightly nutty flavor. Can't comment on how much to eat.
brown rice does not taste as good as white rice but it is a healthier choice. you can cook it just like white rice but it takes a little more time to get ready..about ten minutes more. you should eat 3/4 cup of brown rice. I normally make it with gumbo or something with some type of sauce in order to enjoy it.
I have found that you need to boil the brown rice a little longer than the white because it still has the bran on it. More like thirty minutes whereas you would boil white about twenty. Getting a rice cooker is a worthwhile investment if you're going to use brown rice. It tastes different and is chewier but once you get used to it, it's just as good. I believe half a cup would be a proper serving.
Its a lot more filling than white rice and can give some people heartburn.
It needs to be well rinsed before cooking and cooked half as long again as whiter rice. You could add diced onion, crushed garlic, frozen peas, chilli flakes, caraway seeds about 10 mins before end of cooking.

If you want a little taste try adding some pepper or other seasoning. I would stay away from the butter if you wish to keep the meal healthy.

Cooking brown rice is different than white rice. Brown rice is 1 cup rice ,2&1/4 cups water,and takes longer to cook. Boil 2&1/4 cups water with a dash of salt,add brown rice.Bring back to a boil cover and cook on low heat until water is absorbed.I happen to like brown rice.It's o.k. to eat 1/2 to 3/4 cup. I add lots of things to it,depending on my mood. Try sauteing a small onion chopped up with mushrooms, add a little wosterchire and pepper to taste.It happens to be very good.
Cook it for at least 10 minutes longer than white rice - and it cooks a bit quicker if you soak the rice in cold water for half an hour before you cook it.
Brown rice is more filling than white and doesn't turn starchy or sticky. I think it tastes nicer - and I prefer brown Basmati rice. You can probably use a bit less than you would white rice because it's more filling. As it is slower to digest, it will keep you fuller for longer as well.
It's especially good served with any tomato based or spicy sauce.
I love brown rice....you can use chicken stock/broth to flavor the taste.....I don't add butter! I think a serving size is 1/4 cup or a 1/2 cup not sure which one!
boil it, and then put a tad bit of lemon juice on it. or you could mix some salsa in too. that's good and healthy.
