Chuck in a whole cinnamon stick, some cumin and add some chunks of braising steak here and there for texture.
Delicious!

Make it with V-8 juice or bloody mary mix. Tasty!

Sounds yummy! I have heard of putting Hershey's kisses in?

I always pour a shot or two of tequila into my chili. Fresh chopped cilantro on top is great, too.

my husband swears by 1 tbl of peanut butter

it needs some spices like paprika and cumin, even the smallest ingridients make a difference

a small bit of cumin and fresh cilantro.

I cook cilantro in mine.

I roast my red peppers also add a little cumin and i use 3 types of onion red white and yellow hpe it helps

I do mine fast and easy. A can of Wolf brand chili, a bunch of shredded cheese, and a splash of tabasco. Maybe some green stuff like onions if they happen to be laying around.

I am from Cincinnati and we are famous for our Skyline Chili and they put chocolate and cinnamon in it i believe and people love it!

Ground Turkey,,,,,,,,,,,,,SO GOOD!!! :---)

Brooks seasoning and chili beans.. oh so good! I won't make chili with out them.. OH and Onion!!

Besides the cumin, try adding paprika. Replace the ground beef with chunks of lamb (the chunks are better than ground lamb).

My friend swears by adding mushrooms to his.

1st of all, I'm a firm believer in using absolutely NO pasta filler! Your recipe sounds delicious (although I don't care for black beans). My only suggestions would be a few items that can be added or substituted to adjust your recipe occasionally: ham base (or bacon bits), Worcestershire sauce, molasses, dark kidney beans, habenero peppers (wash your hands thoroughly after chopping these bad boys), stewed tomatoes, tomato puree, ground venison, kosher salt, Turbinado (raw) sugar, sage, & rosemary. (Liquid smoke, & maple syrup does sound SO good!)

add some peanut butter (creamy),
try a tiny dab on a spoonful of chili,
you'll be surprised, although I could
give you another secret ingredient,
but it's not my secret to give away...
I'll refer it up to my higher source.

beer

Try it with shredded beef, molasses, a can of beer and a shot of tequila. I use anywhere from 6 to 9 different peppers in mine depending on how hot I want to go. And if I really want hot, a teaspoon or two of Blaine's 3AM hot sauce.

What time are we eating?
