a lot of those things are low calorie but high in fat foods. Peanut Butter has tons of fat (and peanuts)... yes, they're healthy, but you're only supposed to have a handful, like what would come in an airline snack pack. Protein bars are the same - look at the fat content. How were your fries prepared? I actually prefer mine to be baked - if they were baked, you're doing good there.

I see a lot of veggies, which is great! But... no meats? Do you not eat meat? The water is wonderful, but I'm just wondering how long you can eat like that. What if you were going out to eat with your friends... what kinds of things would you order off the menu there... if you eat like this all the time, the minute you go out with your friends, your diet will be ruined. The major thing I see here is tons of veggies and nuts... which makes for very little calories... which means your metabolism will slow down.

I would suggest to have some oatmeal instead of the sandwich for breakfast (if you really like peanut butter, my personal favorite for oatmeal is some sugar free maple and brown sugar oatmeal with one tablespoon of peanut butter in it... sounds gross, but just try it!!!) Have some fruit for a snack, instead of a protein bar... those are designed for people who are working out and building muscles, not for someone that is trying to trim down. For lunch, hummus is great, I love it, although it's an acquired taste, I hear... make sure your fries are baked, though... I would add some meat, maybe some grilled skinless chicken. For snack, again, tons of protein in peanuts, but... tons of fat, too... just a handful a day is all you need, and it would count as the tablespoon in the oatmeal, honestly... my preferred snack is fruit, but I also eat yogurt sometimes... and sometimes i do both (really <3 to bake some sliced pineapples, bananas, peaches, pears, drizzle with brown sugar/water, and then dipped into some fat free vanilla yogurt mmmm the hot and cold together is delicious!) and for dinner I'd say add something like... fish! It's super healthy for you.

As for healthy or unhealthy, it depends on what you're trying to do... do you want to lose weight, add muscle, slow your metoabolism down? The protein you've eaten will help you build muscle, if you're lifting weights... but that low of calories has GOT to have you ravenously hungry... add some lean meat to your meals to beef them up.... about a cassette tape portion, if you aren't sure how much is good. Also, if you keep eating that low amount of calories, it'll seriously mess with your metabolism, which means that any time you eat anything near to real, you're going to pack it on.

I'll have to say... the water and the veggies... are impressive!!! Keep it up, and Good luck!

edit: ahhh, vegetarian... no meats, then. Can you eat fish? Some vegetarians eat them, I hear... I only know about Vegan diet plans, not the regular vegetarians. Eggs might be a good choice, if you can eat those, too. It's just that nuts are soooo packed with fat, it's crazy. You're right, though - you'd need way more than a handful of nuts to get your protein in. Did you know there was a vitamin you can only get from animal products, that Vegans have to take supplements for, or they'd get sick? I forget what it was called, sorry. Anyhow, if you can eat dairy, you would get it from there... and soy milk, although it sounds like it should be good for you... isn't.... look at the nutrition info!

Lose the french fries, unless you are making oven baked potatoes yourself. Otherwise, eat some fruit and you're fine.

You health nut!!! :^)

My nutritionist grandma doesn't even eat that well!

Your gonna out live us all buddy!!!!

Yes that sounds pretty healthy, as long as you didnt go overboard with the fries. Which by the way sound DELICIOUS dipped in hummus, Im going to have to try that. Sounds like youre getting plenty of fruits and veggies, and youre doing a good job picking whole grain breads. BUT I would look at the jelly youre using, most store bought jellies are made with high fructose corn syrup, WHICH IS NOT HEALTHY AT ALL! Check out the organic food stores, they might have a healthier selection! Keep up the good work!

I think you did pretty good. The french fries weren't a great choice, but you made up for it by the veggie sandwiches and hummus and the lean choices during the rest of the day. So, if you love french fries, that's the way to do it!

Your dinner looks great. It doesn't have a lot of protein, but your other meals and snacks did have a good amount of protein, so that's OK.

god!!!! you make me feel bad now!! for breakfast,i normally eat some sort of sugary breakfast thing. for lunch, i eat some gay crap from school, and on weekends i dont eat lunch. for dinner, i eat some "healthy-er for you" stuff my mom makes. to me, you did pretty good!!

Sounds awsome...you're on the right track of eating healthy*
add some fish(salmon, ) into your meal
lean chicken
more variety of veggies (carrots, celery, salads, cucumber, zuchhini, squash......
and Fruits*(plums, apples, bananas, strawberrys, mango, peaches...)
some Bran/fibre
vitamin C
and some dairy is also important for your body
cheese, yogourt, cottage cheese, milk.....

but I think....if you're having a sandwich for breakfast..with peanut butter(although whole grain is the best) and then another 1/2 sandwich for lunch -along with peanuts..then whole grain noodles for dinner) I think you're eating too much Whole Grains for the day*
Your body doesn't need that much*

You are a vegetarian and you did not get 5 servings of fruit and vegetables!

I'm counting 1 for the half sandwich, and 1 each for the broccoli and asparagus. Of course, you might have had double servings. In which case you did fine.

I think it sounds good. Another good way to get more protien is with beans. Add chick peas (garbonzo beans), and kidney beans to your salad with a few sunflower seeds would go well too. Also milk is good and look for the Go Lean crunch cereals from Kashi. I'm not sure on the sugar content and stuff but the protien is pretty good. Also eggs if you do eggs, my Mom is vegitarian but doesn't like eggs and she just found a powdered egg substitue. Try adding that into stuff and maybe making like a vegitarian omlet.
