There are two recipes that are great for thinnly sliced fried potatoes. You know cut the potatoes thin and fry them in some olive oil til they are a little crisp and not raw. One of them you bake some beenie weenies in the oven ( Pork n beans plus hotdogs and a touch of brown sugar) at 350 then when your potatoes are done you put the beenie weenies on top and its pretty good. Secondly you can instead do a pan of chilly sause to put over the potaotes.
Bag of frozen hash browns
1 can of cream of chicken soup (or celery or mushroom)
1 container of sour cream
1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese (or whatever)
Optional-chopped green onion and/or green pepper)
Mix it up in a 9 x 13 baking pan
Bake for 45 to 60 min at 375 degrees
This is great with just about any kind of meat, we like to make this for BBQ's and it's even good at a fish fry.
Peel potatoes, slice thinly like a chip, lightly paste with vinegar, add a tiny bit of pepper, garlic salt, and cook on a baking sheet in the oven. Allow them to bake until crisp. They are delicious!
