If I make home made pasta sauce, how long will it last?!

Question: I use tinned tomatoes, basil, dried oregano, ketchup, dried garlic.

If I make it and jar it, how should I store it and how long will it last before it is unfit to eat.

Thanks

It will keep indefinitely in the freezer (in a plastic container, of course).
If by making it in a jar, you use a canning and sealing process, it should last for at least a year.
If you just pour it in a jar and refrigerate it, it will begin to break down in about a week in the fridge.

You should put it in the fridge. It would probably last about 3 to 4 days. To keep it really fresh, put it in an air tight container and store it in the fridge.

once it's made, i'd put it in the fridge. my guess would be it would last for about a week. but really it all depends on the fridge and how well-sealed it is.

it may last up to a week as long as you keep it in a container with a lid, if you arent going to use it right away you can put it into a freezer safe container and freeze it until you are ready to use it
