Sour cream with tang in it?!

Question: Anyone know the recipe. My friend told me about it but I'm not sure how much tang you put into the sour cream.

start small and put as much as tastes good to you.

I'm not sure what recipe you're talking about, but I'm glad it is sour cream with Tang in it, rather than the reverse.

Tang with sour cream in it doesn't sound like a very refreshing beverage.

Never heard of it.

Tang Pie

But I have heard of this one.

1 can sweetened condensed milk
12 oz Cool Whip?
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup tang drink mix
mandarin orange slices -- for garnish
2 graham cracker pie crust, 9 inch

Blend the condensed milk and Cool Whip? thoroughly, blend in sour cream. Add the tang mix and blend. Mixture will turn a pale orange color and begin to thicken almost immediately. Spoon into pie shells.
Garnish with canned mandarin slices. Chill to serve. May be frozen for future use (don't add the garnish before freezing -- just before serving). This recipe can also be used in parfait dishes; combined with alternating layer of other pudding or Jell-o? mixtures -- use you imagination. The flavor is similar to the "Dreamcicle" frozen bars.

The amount of Tang you add will alter the taste from milder to
stronger orange flavor.

I couldn't find anything with just tang and sour cream, but this link takes you to a great recipe for Tang Pie. There aren't very many ingredients so it looks very easy to make.

sounds interesting!
