I need a good recipe for potato salad?!
Answers: No complicated one plz, since i just started cooking.
peel about 4-5 medium to large potatoes, slice into 4 long quarters, then chop into about 1/2 inch thick chunks. Boil until fork tender. Drain and cool. Add 1 cup mayonaise, 6 pieces of cooked, crumbled bacon, 1/2 of a red onion, chopped, 2-3 celery stalks chopped, 1/4 cup white vinegar, salt and pepper to taste. I found this recipe about 2 years ago and love it. It's easy and yummy. I hope you enjoy it.
Blue Ribbon Potato Salad
5 cans of whole peeled potatoes, diced to desired size
1 quart jar of real mayonnaise
1/4 cup to 1/2 cup mustard, to taste
alot of celery seed, to taste
1 whole deli container of diced hardboiled eggs
1/4 cup sugar
Dice the potatoes to desired size. Mix in the mayonnaise, mustard and celery seed. Now add in the diced hardboiled eggs and mix well. Then add in the sugar to finish and mix again. Chill for at least 1/2 hour if possible. Serve
New Potato Salad
3 pounds small red potatoes
Kosher salt
1 cup good mayonnaise
1/4 cup buttermilk, milk, or white wine
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons whole-grain mustard
1/2 cup chopped fresh dill
Freshly ground black pepper
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped red onion
Place the potatoes and 2 tablespoons of salt in a large pot of water. Bring the water to a boil, then lower the heat and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes, until the potatoes are barely tender when pierced with a knife. Drain the potatoes in a colander, then place the colander with the potatoes over the empty pot and cover with a clean, dry kitchen towel. Allow the potatoes to steam for 15 to 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, in a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, buttermilk, Dijon mustard, whole-grain mustard, dill, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1 teaspoon of pepper. Set aside.
When the potatoes are cool enough to handle, cut them into quarters or halves, depending on their size. Place the cut potatoes in a large bowl. While the potatoes are still warm, pour enough dressing over them to moisten. (As the salad sits, you may need to add more dressing.) Add the celery and red onion, 2 teaspoons of salt and 1 teaspoon of pepper. Toss well, cover, and refrigerate for a few hours to allow the flavors to blend. Serve cold or at room temperature.

Boil potatoes in the skin until fork tender. Drain and allow to cool, enough to handle. Peel potatoes and cut into bite size pieces. Mix together one chopped onion, lots of chopped dill pickles, chopped hard boiled eggs, mayonnaise, mustard, pickle juice and a little white vinegar. Add salt and pepper to taste. Fold in cooked potatoes. Sprinkle with paprika.

Boil some potatoes til they're tender. You can peel them then if you want. Cut up the potatoes, chop some onion and celery, and some hard boiled eggs. Mix with mayo and some yellow mustard.
