Minced (ground) beef is one of my favourite cooking ingredients because it's so versatile. Chile con carne, shepherd's pie, a Greek meat and potato pie topped with cheesy bechamel sauce, moussaka, spaghetti bolognese, Swedish meatballs, a Georgian meat pastry dish called khinkali, Cornish pasties, Siberian ravioli...

Thanks. Enjoy. We're about to have that Greek meat and potato pie for evening meal. Report It

  • Well you can make one hamburger. Or just brown it up with some onion and drain. Cool and freeze for another use to add with some more ground beef. My mom used to brown up hamburger with onion. Drain off the fat and chop up American cheese and add the the beef; stir til melted. Eat as is or put it on a bun. It's really good and easy.

Make it into hamburger patties and freeze them. You can still use them for anything, or just take them out and fry'em up.

Make a pizza using the ground beef, crust, pizza sauce, mozzerella cheese, garlic and red pepper flakes
    Make chili
    Make spaghetti
    Make goulash

    6 eggs scrambled w/ cheese
    1 lb ground beef
2 cups instant rice to 2 cups water- read the box (Salt, Pepper, and margarine.)
    1 package shredded cheese

Cook the rice and mix with a good handful of cheese
Same with beef and eggs too
Switch to caserole bowl and mix all items
Then some shredded cheese on top and put it in the oven on 375 for 10 minutes...
    ,,, oh it is good!

cook beef and add to prepared macaroni and cheese--fast and easy

Make beef pies - brown the ground beef w/ minced onions, crushed garlic, salt, pepper. Add a couple of tablespoons of brown gravy mix & a bit of water to thicken. You can also add mixed frozen veggies.

    Allow this to cool.

Use a can of pre-made biscuits. Roll or pat out each biscuit & put in a couple of tablespoons of filling. Seal the biscuit in a half moon shape & crimp the edges w/ a fork.

Bake for about 15-20 minutes @ 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
