What's a good recipe for marshmellow fudge??!


Question: Fantasy Fudge

3 c sugar
3/4 c margarine
2/3 c evaporated milk
1 bag chocolate chips
7 oz jar marshmallow creme
1 tsp vanilla
chopped pecans (opt)

Mix sugar, margarine & milk in heavy pan, & bring to a boil, stirring constantly--boi & keep stirring for 5 min at medium heat--remove from heat & add chips, creme & vanilla--stir well until smooth & blended--add nuts if desired--pour into greased 13 x 9 pan--cool completely before cutting..

* 1/4 cup butter
* 2 cups sugar
* 2/3 cup evaporated milk
* 2 cups (12 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips
* 1 jar (7 1/2 ounces) marshmallow creme
* 1 cup chopped pecans
* 1 teaspoon vanilla
* pecan halves for garnish, optional

Heat butter in a heavy 3-quart skillet over low heat. Add sugar and evaporated milk; stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a rolling boil. Continue to boil for about 4 minutes, or until a candy thermometer registers 226°.
Remove from heat. Add chocolate chips; stir until melted. Stir in marshmallow creme, pecans, and vanilla until well blended. Pour into a greased 9-inch square baking pan. Place on rack to cool. Refrigerate for several hours, or until cool enough to cut into squares. Cover and store in refrigerator.
Makes about 4 dozen squares.

Directions
1Combine sugar, evaporated milk, and butter in medium sauce pan.
2cook to soft ball stage Once it reaches the soft ball stage, take off heat and add chocolate morsels, marshmallow cream, vanilla, and nuts (I leave out the nuts) Stir until it is all combined well and melted.
3Pour into a aluminum foil lined 9x13" dish.
