Yes I do...
GARLIC SOUP
``````````````````````````````````````...
6 cloves garlic
1 TBSP. cooking oil
4 c. chicken broth
1/4 tsp. pepper
* Crush garlic using a garlic press or flat side of a knife. In a medium saucepan cook garlic in hot oil for 1 to 2 minutes or till tender but not brown. Stir in chicken broth and pepper. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
``````````````````````````````````````...
2 beaten eggs
1/2 c. onion and garlic croutons
snipped cilantro or parsley (optional)
*Pour beaten eggs slowly into hot soup in a thin stream, stirring gently till egg cooks and shreds finely.
Serve immediately with croutons and garnish.

You can make this soup with out the egg if you like. The main thing is the broth and the garlic. Those two things will have your man up and around sooner then you think...

its really hard to make a decent chicken soup from scratch it involves boiling the carcass for stock and all sorts. he needs loads of vitamin c and zinc to combat a cold and i would buy a soup lol

Great for when you are under the weather!

idk but maybe u could look on the internet and look for some recipes. (hope ur man feels better soon)

Let him cook it himself.

i use Lipton's for me
Campbells for my husband

Okay I don't usually makae this kind of soup in an exact way, so here is what I do.

I either make my own broth ir use store bought, either way is just fine here is how I do my own broth.

Use some bone-in chicken, like some breast meat and some thigh meat both with the bones still attatched. Boil in a large pan with some carrots, onions, celery, garlic, bay leaves cut into large pieces. Simmer this on low for an hour or more. You don't want to over cook the meat though so be carefull. If you want you can remove the meat from the bones when it is at a "pull apart" doneness. Meaning you can pull it into pieces but hand. Then return the skin and bones to the water and keep boiling for little while longer. Or you can stop when the chicken meat is nice and tender. Pour into a large holed strainer over a large bowl. Then wipe out the pan.

Saute in some butter about 1 or 2 carrrots, 1-2 ribs celerey, 1/2-1 onion, 1 clove garlic all chopped small. When just tender add either canned broth or your homemmade broth strained thru a finer holed strainer. Add some noodles of your choice (egg noodles are great and you can buy start shaped noodles). Add such seasonings as cerlery salt, granulated garlic, onion powder, salt, pepper, poultry seasoning, pepper, seasoned salt. Boil until veggies and noodles are tender add chicken and cook until hot.

Serve with a nice slice of toasted sourdough bread!!!

Just get some Campbell's chicken soup in a can.

what we all like to eat in my house when we are sick is this
buy a box of lipton chicken noodle packets
fill a sauce pot with pasta noodles of your choice, bring to a boil and cook your noodles to al dente
pour in 2 of the lipton soup packets mix well and simmer for 5 minutes
serve with lots of crackers
we love this soup
