YES!! My family has a favorite Ice Cream "cake" that has been passed down for yrs & it is top notch......here goes.....

1 carton Choc. ice cream (1/2 gallon -square box kind)
1 Carton vanilla Ice cream (same as choc.)
1 Box oreos
1 Jar Hot fudge sauce
1 tub cool whip
wax paper (optional)

Okay, first use a deep large (10X13) pan. take choc. ice cream out of freezer & open the carton completely-so the ice cream cube is free standing. Take a large knife & cut into 1 inch slices. Line those slices so it covers the entire bottom of pan. Place in freezer. Then crush the whole bag of oreos. Take pan from freezer, sprinkle all the crushed oreos on top of choc ice cream layer. Then scoop fudge in clumps on top of crushed oreos. Use the whole jar of fudge. Put back in freezer. Cut the Vanilla ice cream the same way the choc was cut & layer on top of oreos. Put in freezer. Then smooth cool whip on top of cake for a nice finish-decorate top of cake if desired.

Tips: My mom used to like to line the pan w/wax paper before starting. She then would stop after vanilla ice cream at the part where I used cool whip, & flip the cake onto a flat cookie sheet. She then smoothed/ decorated the top & sides w/cool whip. Then she'd decorate it like a store bought B-day cake. Obviously that is the more fancy way. I just leave mine in the pan & only decorate the top. I then cut the pieces out of the pan. I have not made mine for anything that required a fancy cake yet, either.

Also, u can use what ever flavor Ice cream as desired. Cookies & cream for all ice cream is great. Also mouse tracks too. But it is easier to work with when bought in the old rectangle cartons!!!

Hope u enjoy. Like I said, my mom used to make this for my B-day parties when I was a kid. I've made them a few times for friends & for my sons party last yr (3 yrs old) & It has gone over so well, I am stuck making it all the time!! LOL =P

Oh, and, Brett rocks!!!

YUMMY AND ROMANTIC.

I have the best and easiest recipe EVER:

Oreo Balls

1 package Oreo cookies, crushed
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 package white almond bark
1 package chocolate almond bark

Directions:

Using a blender or hand held mixer, mix Oreos and cream cheese together. Roll into walnut size balls. Chill for an hour. Melt approximately 3/4 package of white almond bark. Stick a toothpick in an Oreo ball and dip it in the melted white almond bark. Allow to harden on wax paper. Takes about 15 min. While waiting, melt about 1/4 package of chocolate almond bark. When Oreo balls are no longer sticky to the touch, decorate with drizzles of chocolate and white almond bark.
