Eggs age when?!
Answers: How old is an egg when it is in the grocery store for sale.
If you're concerned about freshness, on every egg carton I ever saw, there is an expiration date on the end of the carton.
THE LAST thing I want is to get eggs which were on a shelf someplace or in one of the freezers in the store. I NEVER take the eggs from the front. I ALWAYS go for the ones on the bottom or in the back.
Ditto for milk and for egg substitutes.
