I'm baking a cake, from a recipe written in German. What is an "Msp."?!

Question: I am baking a cake, and I have a nice recipe; unfortunately it is in German. I understand the instructions, but I do not know what I ought to do when I come to the part where I have to add "1 Msp. Backpulver". What is an Msp.; and how much does that mean in metric measures (grams)?
Thank you very much, for the help!

Vielen Dank!

Possibly it is "Messerspitze" --- but th is not a regular measure but in older times sometimes used.

It means a knifeful, very confusing, lol, xDDD. Only a little bit, =P

Seeing as it is baking powder, I am going to guess it is "measuring spoon" and that should be a teaspoon.
