Does anyone know a Soft dough quickbread recipe, (without yeast).?!

Question: Here are a couple of good recipes for you -- tried and proven!
The first is my grandmother's recipe (it's about 80 years old)
The second one I found a few years back and it's too easy for words!

Banana Bread - makes 1 loaf
Ingredients:
? Cup Shortening
? Cup Sugar (or less)
1 Egg – beaten
2 cups Flour (not self rising)
? teaspoon Salt
? teaspoon Baking Soda
? teaspoon Baking Powder
2 Large or 3 Small Bananas* mashed
? cup chopped Walnuts
3 Tablespoons Vanilla

*Note very ripe Banana makes better bread.

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a bowl cream shortening with sugar.
Add egg.
In a separate bowl mix the flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder.
Add dry mix to first bowl a little at a time mixing well.
Add bananas.
Add vanilla
Fold in chopped nuts.
Pour into greased loaf pan and bake for about 45 minutes.
Remove from oven and let cool.

Beer Bread -- makes 1 loaf

Ingredients:
3 cups of Flour (self-rising works best)
3 tablespoons of sugar
1 – 16 oz bottle of beer

(You will find that you will get a different color and flavor to the bread if you use different kinds of beer)

Instructions:
Mix flour and sugar in a large mixing bow.
Slowly add the beer while mixing by hand.
Do not worry if the beer foams up in the bowl, just keep stirring.
After all the beer is added, turn the mixture into a well-greased bread pan.
Then pop into a pre-heated 350-degree oven for approximately 1 to 1 ? hours.
Bead is done when golden in color and hollow sounding when lightly tapped.
Let it cool for a few after taking out of the oven.

theres a native amercan bread called frybread it takes serting stuff.

Soda bread. Awesome and easy. If you don't have buttermilk, then you can fake it by mixing 4 tsp of lemon juice (or white vinegar) with enough milk to make 1 1/4 cups. Just let it sit on the counter for fifteen minutes and you'll be set.
