Here are my suggestions. Not all are healthy right off the bat, but if you're willing to do a bit of searching, you can find healthy versions of each.

First off, tuna. Delicious on sandwiches. You can have it plain, but I prefer to mix it with a bit of creamy salad dressing, often Miracle Whip, plus a dash of pickle relish.

Ham is a good option. In fact, most meats are -- as long as you get them lean; not fatty. If you find a meat you like, but it has a lot of veins of fat in it, you can always cut it yourself, then chop it.

If you've got a good barbecue sauce you like, you can use that with most meats, as well. It's great with chopped pork, ham, turkey, and chicken. Also, using a crock-pot works well. You can make it in large batches, then freeze it, to be reheated later.

Personally, I don't eat much meat. Not completely vegetarian, but somewhat close. Therefore, one of my suggestions is a salad / cheese type sandwich. These can be incredibly low in fat -- often fat free.

Peanut butter (healthy brands, of course) and jelly is a traditional must.

Seafood is always an option. Imitation or real; either work well. With a dash of low-fat mayo or miracle whip, and a few spices, they turn out delicious.

Depending on the type of bread you're using, fresh fruit may even work well. Sliced strawberries, bananas, melons, etc., can work well on sandwiches. If you prefer that your sandwiches have some type of dressing or liquid, you can always puree fruit, or use fruit sauces.

fresh cooked chicken or ham with lettuce, tomato, cucumber and spring onion and a little mayonnaise on brown bread or brown roll.

low fat/light cream cheese works, too.

Tuna is great. They are low in calories, as long as you get the flaked tuna that is packed in water. I highly recommend it.

You could also do a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, or even just jelly. Jelly is about 20 calories per serving, and peanut butter is only 90 calories per serving. However, you can always try to get lower calorie options.

yes, sandwich with out bread, filling, spread, .......just kiddin. 2 slice light brown bread
mix1 tbsp low fat mayo + 2 tbsp low fat yoghurt+ 1 carrot & 1cucumber shredded+1/4 tsp black pepper + 1/2 tsp ketchup
1 slice low fat cheese.
lettuce on one toast.
spead the mix on one slice & then cover with another lettuce slice toast.
eat with fresh juice.

mushrooms! and veggies. mushrooms are a good substitute for meat, you'll never miss it.

Turkey,lettuce,tomatoes,pickles and mustard....Pile the tomatoes on and it will be filling and healthy.

I would say Tuna or Turkey

You could always make veggie sandwiches: sliced avocado, alfalfa sprouts, tomatoes, lettuce. You could add some cheese or soy cheese too....

CRAB SALAD
1 (6-1/2 oz) can crab, flaked
1/2 c. celery, chopped fine
1/2 c. green onion, chopped fine
1/4 c. mayonnaise (lite or non-fat)
dash lemon juice
salt & pepper to taste
dash paparika
Blend everything together really well and use as a sandwich spread
