My guess would be they average about 2oz each if they are about 2" in diameter so about 8.

depending on how large they are...

get something in your cabinets that weigh a pound and kinda approximate. I would guess-timate somewhere around 8-12

I LOVE red potatoes!!!
Depending on the size, 6-10. Try 8.

A scale also helps.

it depends on how "little" they are start with 8-10

If they are only little try about 9 who cares if you have too many red potatoes are lovely

They aren't very uniform in size.. Somewhere between 3 to 5.

To confirm your amounts, you could make the investment in a small scale.

NOTE: IF you peel them, the weight will be less.

Thanks for asking your Q! I enjoyed answering it!

Yes, that is my real last name!

When I make red potatoes... I choose the med-small ones. I figure about 3-4 per person. I never go by wieght. So tomorow I am making baked chicken with red potatoes and there will be 6 of us....I will grab about 16-18.

It greatly depends upon size...but for the "average" size, probably 2 or 3 ONLY!!! 2 or 3 per pound.
