Need frosting help!!!!!!!!!!!?!

Question: I am looking to make a frosting that is fluffy and lite.
Not too sugery but really yummy. I don't like sugar or regular frosting that comes in a plastic jar, so i have been getting my frosting pre made at Price Chopper (a grocery store In new york).

Does anyone now any recipies for that kind of frosting???

You can make a yummy frosting with cool whip and instant vanilla pudding mix. You can use fat free cool whip and sugar free vanilla pudding mix if you want. Mix real well so that the pudding dissolves. Refrigerate until you use. You can also add an 8oz can of crushed pineapples, drained. Or you can add 6 to 8oz of grated coconut- just thaw out a frozen package. And you can add both pineapple and coconut. You can substitute French vanilla pudding mix if you like. For easter, I made a mandarin orange cake and used pistachio pudding mix and added pineapples and coconut. The frosting was really good and it was a pretty light green color. I put jellybeans and peeps on top- looked really cute. Oh, and this stuff is great with fruit too- strawberries, apple slices, peach slices etc.

Whip 2 cups of heavy whipping cream with 2-4 TB. of a package of jello or pudding mix - to very stiff peaks. Pick a flavor jello/pudding that you like and you'll have a little color in the frosting then too. It won't be a really strong flavor; just a hint......

Fantastic Butter Cream Frosting

1 lb. Unsalted Butter, softened
2 jars Marshmallow Cream
2 cups Powdered Sugar
2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract

1. In a large bowl beat butter with mixer on medium speed until creamy

2. Gradually add Marshmallow Cream until mixture is creamy.

3. Reduce mixer speed to low and beat in powdered sugar along with vanilla extract.

4. Increase mixer speed to High and continue beating for additional 3-4 minutes or until mixture is fluffy.

5. Makes 5 cups of frosting.

6. Frosting can be refrigerated for up to 5 days, but remember to bring it back to room temperature and beat to fluff before using.

I usually look up frosting recipes on the Internet to find frostings. If you google whip cream frosting recipes there may be less sugary recipes, and it is light and delicious. I do not have any recipes on hand though Sry!
