A seafood sauce to go over your steak? does it sound good?!

Question: 1) trinity( celery, onion, green pepper)
2)mushrooms
3) crab meat
4) shrimp
5 ) half and half cream
6 ) a little flour
7) seasonings ( your favorite, not too much) I use Tony Chacheres
8) 2 NY strip steaks

Saute your trinity in butter, add in crab meat, let it cook about 5 mins. add in some half and half cream to make a sauce, bring to a boil, add in your shrimp, peeled and deveined, cook till the shrimp turns pinkish, add your seasonings in at the very last. If your sauce is too liquidy, add in some flour to thicken.

While doing this sauce, cook your steaks to your liking, utilizing your fav spices and doneness, pull steaks off, let rest a couple of minutes, by this time you shpould have your sauce on simmer, spoon some sauce on top of your steak, add a baked potato, and you are ready to enjoy the best of both worlds.

Sound de - lish y'all!

Sounds good to me. I ran out of A1 one time and used cocktail on my steak and it was pretty damn good, so sounds like that would really be good.

I love "Steak Oscar" and your recipe sounds good..
It is also wonderful with a grilled chicken breast. A few freshly cooked asparagus spears add to it..
