What foods can I cook with paprika?!
Answers: Hi, I have a big jar of paprika and I was wondering...what types of foods can I use it on to make it delicious? Please help me out! Thanks a lot. ^_^
paprika is a spice
I use it on all my fried foods to give color and sweetness (just a tat sweet, nothing like sugar) just add it to your flour when dredging foods for frying you will like the results
I also sprinkle on garlic toast giving it a beautiful color
I usually put paprika on cottage cheese just to give it a little flavor.
It's great on baked chicken too!
Here's a really nice crock pot recipe that is always a hit!
Pork Parisienne
6-8 boneless pork chops
Salt and pepper
Paprika
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 small can sliced mushrooms
1 cup sour cream
? cup water
Sprinkle pork with salt, pepper, and paprika. Place in crockpot. Mix soup, water, mushrooms, and sour cream. Pour of pork chops. Sprinkle with paprika. Cover and cook low for 6-8 hours. Serve over rice or noodles.
For chicken parisienne: Substitute the pork for 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Enjoy!

French fries! Honest. Before cooking your French fries, sprinkle a little paprika over them and toss to evenly distribute it.
Paprika is my "secret ingredient" of choice in beef gravies and stews. It gives a more robust color and adds a little something to the flavor. it blends in well enough that I'm often asked about it. It doesn't scream "paprika!" at you when you taste it, but it definitely adds a nice something.
Hungarian Goulash features paprika.
1 part salt to 3 parts paprika
shake over chicken and grill or bake. tastes like huli-huli chicken (rotisserie)
