How can I make DELICIOUS soft corn tortillas?!

Question: I have some Mission Corn Tortillas. How do I prepare them for soft tacos that don't break?
Are you supposed to steam them as opposed to lightly pan searing them?

A few Tbls of "oil" hot but not TOO..
about 3 - 4 seconds on each side
stack with ?? napkins seperating in another warm pan or a styrofoam bowl with a lid JUST for this...

Heating them will make them soft..normally flour torts are used with soft tacos....the texture of corn torts are a bit dry and grainy.and are best fried crisp.

I toss them frozen into hot oil, flip immediately, take out and drain. fold them in half over a heaping tablespoon of meat and cheese. Add the salad stuff and more cheese.

I always put my tortillas in the freezer. But put waxed paper or blue wraps between each before putting into the baggie so they are easily separated. When they thaw in the hot oil, they are still soft and edible. Leave them too long and they get to that tough stage.
