Fish > what have you tried ?!
I had a nice bit of red snapper last night
Oh, I will settle for cod or plaice, but when living in the Mid-East, I had some fish freshly caught that defies description
They were fine, or I would not be typing this.
What about a monk-fish, shark steaks, sardines etc ?
I am told that fish is good. but still, despite this Q, prefer a lump of cow or pig.
Any thoughts on the subject ?

mmm fish is my favourite meat, i love pink salmon and haddock mm all fish are good especially goldfish lol jus kidding
My favourite is Swordfish - goes well with white wine!
Oh & Rainbow Trout with Toasted Almonds. mmmm
Shark and monks taste horrible and sardines are sick. However many traditional fillets taste great like salmon, cod, walleye ect.
I haven't eaten that many types of fish but apart from fish and chips, I like steamed lemon sole and some others whose names escape me right now. Fish and seafood in general is good and healthy because they contain Omega-3, and a lot of fish dishes taste delicious.
However I think people are sometimes afraid of trying to cook fish if they are not used to eating it and can't get it fresh locally. Red meat is more common if not more abundant and 'easier' to cook, and also has a more solid kind of taste if you know what I mean.
most fish is nice - monk fish is gorg and really quite meaty - i absolutely love crab meat too - caviar is to die for - to only fish i dont really like is probably salmon except if its smoked salmon - otherwise - mussells, anchovies, tuna, cod, haddock, bass, prawns, etc are all really nice!
mmmmmmhh fish...just do me some salmon with salad
Sea Bass is my favorite!
Its a white fish that melts in your mouth...
but it tends to be one of the more pricey fish.
Its totally worth it!
I only eat seafood and no other meats...I am fussy about my fish however...red snapper, cod, tilapia, grouper, dolphin (mahi-mahi), mako shark, pompano are all good...and of course shrimp, oysters, crabs, octopus, squid, clams, and conch...
my hubby a trawl fisherman so get a lot of fish, i like halibut, lemon sole, and prawns, mmmmmm
I love fish, Salmon is very nice and so is mackerel, tuna and swordfish.
You should try and have fish at lest once and week and try different ones just to see what you like, try grilling, poaching, baking or steaming and cooking the fish using fresh herbs very nice
I agree with Cayalist. Also with Swordfish steaks they are large and you can make two meals out of them.
Sardines are really good if you cook them on the BBQ for a short while. Brush with Olive Oil and the spices you like, turn the often to keep from scorching.
Fish is wonderful. There are so many kinds and so many ways to cook them. Try other fish dishes and experiment. Salmon, mahi mahi, tuna, flounder, and trout are wonderful. I am an avid seafood eater. It is so good to me. I also love beef and pork. The perfect plates would include surf and turf foods. Keep trying it. You will find something you love.
my favorite fish is a Tuna steak, marinated in Italian dressing and grilled.
I am not much of a fish eater, don't like the taste too much.
Love Mahi-Mahi and shrimp
Fried flounder is OK every once in a while.
Like I said I don't really like fish that much so if you know of good recipes that disguise the fish taste I would love to hear them
Hot & Spicy Steamed Fish Head (whole) - Hunan Style
I really don't like fish, and prefer the lump of cow too:) ... But we do BBQ salmon once a week ... We've also BBQ'd shark, halibut and swordfish (try Lawry's marinades on them)... I like firmer fish, that doesn't actually taste like fish:), and don't like the smell of it cooking inside....
Hi Bob
best meal is a roast with all the trimmings. I enjoy monk fish when in a really good restaurant and it is cooked just right and with a tasty sauce in fact I like most fish if it is well filleted and cooked but nothing beats the roast or a juicy steak.
I had a good ostrich steak when in South Africa that was so tender yum ,making myself hungry now thinking of all these fine meals .

I love just about all types of fish. Not too fond of plaice. My absolute favourites are John Dory and Mackerel. Tilapia fish is lovely too. Having sea bass for tea tonight.
