What (if anything) can you make using "bad banana's??!

Question: I bought some banana's a few days ago, and since they went bad fast, i didn't get to eat them all. My mom told me once that you can make the best banana brad using banana's that have gone bad. Is that true?? Is there anything i can make with them so i do not have to waste my money?? (even though i kinda have already)...

thank you.

all answers are greatly appreciated.

One Egg Banana Bread
This banana bread recipe is easy, using one egg and one bowl.

1 1/2 cup of flour
1 cup of sugar
1 teaspoon of salt

milk shakes

Your mom is right. Banana bread tastes better with older bananas. I always wait until mine are brown and mushy to make my banana bread, it tastes great that way! Try doing that.

You could make somebody slip!

You should always use very ripe bananas for banana bread, banana cake, or anything that calls for ripe/mashed bananas. You can freeze them too, and use them later in recipes... or put them frozen, into the blender, instead of ice when you make smoothies....

If you can't decide what to make right now then toss them in your freezer, they will still make amazing banana bread, banana cake, muffins, milkshakes, pancakes....

yes banana bread, any recipe really that has banana's in it will mostly call for really ripe banana's. Otherwise they are too lumpy when you mash them up. allrecipes.com has great recipes.

Green banana's are raw very young..
Yellow are not ripe and are sweet and firm enough to eat..
Bananas that are spotted black but still have white meat are ripe and as they turn black they are very ripe and are wonderful in cake cookies and breads..I do not know at what time they "Go Bad" mine have never lasted that long...
as far as Debbie's Green Bags,,,, how foolish..!!

There's a fine line between an overripe banana and a rotten banana. Overripe bananas do make the best banana bread. They're also great in smoothies. You can peel and freeze them for use another time. If they're rotten already, though, just toss them.

Yes!! Banana bread is best bananas that are too ripe to eat... it's moister, and sweeter... just right! You'll see, try it.

the blacker the banana the better banana bread

Banana bread and banana pudding are best if made with very soft, very ripe (over ripe) bananas. Use your favorite vanilla pudding mix and cut or mash bananas into it. Add vanilla waffers if you like.

Banana breads, smoothies, milkshakes.

Banana pudding or banana bread without a doubt

You can mix them with sweet potatoes. Bake everything and then whip. fantastic.
