Always cook your chicken with the wings up.Season your chicken with the breast facing up! Always. And never flip the chicken while it is cooking leave it on it's back. And never put any water in roasting chicken because chicken has it's own water at 350degrees. Just add a little maragrine on top of bird.
Wings down, legs/breast up. That's how I do it. Some roast it on a spit so it cooks evenly all over.
wings down
breast up
happy eats!
I'd say wing pointing up, b/c that is breast side up. However, I usually tuck the wing tip back underneath itself, so it doesn't burn and stick out, looking like it's trying to take-off and fly!
Always cook it with the breasts facing down. It keeps it moist and helps it from drying out!
Breast side up, but I fold wings under the back
Most people put it breast up but I like to roast it breast down because the breast sits in the liquid and doesn't get so dry.
Each to their own but for moist breastmeat cook it breast down so juices sink to the bottom.
If you are good at roasting put it in the oven wingside up for half the cooking time, then flip it over on its back to roast the breast. this keeps the breast moist and stops all the juices from collecting in the back which no one wants to eat anyways because its boney. Be careful not to burn yourself!
You want it to be breast down.
I really am going to attempt this question because I love roasted chicken. Wings down, and season the top of it? I seriously am starting to feel like a bad bad wife? Do you go to McDonald's? Okay I think it is nasty too. Seems like your spirits are looking up!!!! That is great! Gee, now I do not even answer the question, I just gab away.
wings down breast up when cooked turn it upside down and rest for 20 mins juices will flow back into breast and will be more tender.
