Pretzels ?!

Question: Almost 2 years ago (April 2006), I traveled to Boston just to get away for a week (I live in Michigan). While I was there, I decided to stop at Quincy Market near Faneuil Hall, and there was a shop in the east end of the market that had Boston-style pretzels from this company: http://www.bostonpretzel.com/retailstore...

These are NOT "normal" pretzels. They have a slightly different taste than other pretzels, and they don't have the design like this: http://www.free-template.net/3d_images/F... . Instead they are shaped like this: http://www.bancroftcyberfair.com/foods/I... . They have 2 sections instead of the typical 3 and are basically 2 ovals connected at one side.

I need a recipe for these. I miss that vacation, and before I embark on another journey (to Greece, I leave Friday night) I would like to taste these pretzels again.

Ooooh those look yummy.. I tried to google for the recipe, but didn't come up with anything. And I doubt the company would release it. But maybe? I just sent them an email.

XD

Hmmm, don't know if this site would have that recipe but this is the one I recommend to everyone on here.

www.allrecipes.com.

People from all over submit recipes so someone might have posted what you are looking for.
Either that or you could google it.

Hope this helped.

I can't guarantee they will taste the same, but if it's just a soft pretzel you want, you can get those all over the place. I think Subway sells them, but I'm not sure. I remember when you could buy frozen pretzels at a grocery store and cook them in the microwave. I don't know if they sell them at the grocery store anymore though. Try going to a mall and checking out their food court. You should be able to find them in Michigan.
If you must have the kind of soft pretzel you had in Boston and
not any other kind, then I would suggest doing a Google search for Boston pretzel recipes and you might get lucky and find that one.
Here is a link to a Boston pretzel recipe, though I don't think this is the same one that you had:http://beantownbaker.blogspot.com/2007/1...
