Yes. Vanilla is just a flavour enhancer for the recipe. Not necessary, but not as distinctive without it.

Ye just dont add the vanilla, if u take it out of the recipie it wont harm your cookie mix

Of course! And you won't even be able to tell the difference.
Happy baking!

Oh, sure. You can either leave it out completely or substitute it with some other flavoring. I've used coffee, cognac, espresso, and lemon juice for vanilla in various recipes.

Good luck....don't forget the glass of milk for dunking!

Absolutely! I have done this many times and they turned out just great!!!! If you wanted them to have an extra burst of flavor, make the cookies and then set a Hershey kiss on top of the baked cookies - it is a great combo and your vanilla will NEVER be missed! Good luck with cookies!

Yes...substituting rum extract or almond extract might be nice but unnecessary.

Try rum

Yes, you can leave out vanilla.

Yes. You can leave the vanilla out of the peanut butter cookies and the cookies will still taste good. :-)

Easiest recipe for peanut butter cookies you will ever find....preheat oven to 350 1 egg, 1 cup of sugar, and 1 cup of peanut butter Mix your egg and your sugar then add the peanut butter stir well, (for crunchy cookies use crunchy peanut butter) place drops of cookie dough on a nongreased nonstick pan (oil will make them cook faster on the bottom and is easier to burn them) bake for 10 minutes remove off of pan and let cool ( leavin them on the pan may cause over cooking and hard cookies) Voila enjoy
