I toss the tacky bouillon pack and use real stock (either homemade or low sodium canned). I add frozen vegetables (carrots, peas, corn, and sometimes fresh celery.). If I feel like meat, I'll add shrimp or chicken. And I always add that magic red elixir the McIlhenny family makes on Avery Island. added

Hint. This is the red elixir.

i add cheese, always to almost every pasta.

Cheese sounds strange, in an Asian soup:) ... I'll add beaten egg (drizzled in); slivered green onions; a dash of ginger; tofu cubes; sliced mushrooms...leftover chicken; ....whatever is in the fridge:)

I only prepare Ramen noodles for the grandchildren!! I think they are totally gross!!

I get additional ingredients at the local Asian market. I add fish cake, dried shrimp, sliced green onions, diced ham, scrambled egg, wasabi peas, a spoonful of kim chee (stuff at Asian store not in reg. grocery) and Sricha & Kikkoman. If I have any lump crab or artificial crab in there instead of the dried shrimp.

i add some chopped green onions, egg, left over pork chop (chopped), soy sauce, and fish cake.. DELICIOUS!
