Cheese nachos at the cinema?!
Answers: what kind of cheese should i buy.I want to make the nachos with the cheese that they put over them at the cinema its melted and not 2 cheesy but just nice, preferably in Irish cinemas cos thats where i live and if the americans answer i probly wont be able 2 get that brand that they recommend, cheers
sorry, if this isnt what you wanted(in advance)
The cheese that is used in the cinema's is disgusting fatty, processed food. You can really buy it though but you shouldnt use it @ home if you have the choice 'coz ity's really unhealthy and fatty and greesy. It's quite low quality and you can't buy it.......
BUT, when I make nacho's i use "red leicester" but most people would use "cheddar Chesse"
whats nacho cheese?
you should look for recipes on the internet. it might be mozarella i like sweet shilli sauce with my nachos...i dont like cheese =[
A mild irish cheddar
That cheese in the cinema is a very processed kind of cheese. I went to allrecipies.com and they have loads of recipies using American cheese or even chedder cheese. Just try searching for "nacho cheese".
Microwave some cheese wiz.
The problem is that in the cinema they use a highly processed cheese sauce, which is more than just melted cheese I'm not sure if you'll ever be able to recreate it. You could try melting some leicter cheese ( that's English but I'm sure you can get it in Ireland) Its the orange one and some Mozzarella cheese that will give you the stringy/chewy consistency, may be add a spalsh of milk to loosen it up and pour over the Nacho's.

If you have Velveeta cheese, that is the closest to the kind at cinemas...if it is in Ireland...
It's probably that squeezy cheese you find in a bottle....you can get that in any supermarket=]
