Country ribs?!

Question: Any ideas besides barbeque?

Answers: Any ideas besides barbeque?

You will like this. I have cut the meat into chunks, boil them in salty garlic water until done, then fry them up crisp. Now you have some carnitas. Chop them up a little and put them on hot tortillas and you will have some of the greatest tacos, all you need to add is thinly chopped cabbage, tomatoes, onions, and some salsa.

Simmer for 45 minutes, drain, put in a roast pan, top with your favourite barbeque sauce and bake at 325 for half an hour. The meat will fall off the bones.

I think this is a great recipe...

Glazed Country Ribs

INGREDIENTS
3/4 cup pineapple juice
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup white wine
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
6 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
3 pounds country style pork ribs

DIRECTIONS
In a medium bowl, whisk together pineapple juice, vegetable oil, white wine, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, salt, ground black pepper and rosemary.
Place ribs in a large, shallow dish, and pierce several times with a fork. Pour 1/2 the marinade over ribs, reserving remainder. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator 8 hours, or overnight, turning once.
Preheat an outdoor grill for medium, indirect heat and lightly oil grate.
Place ribs on the prepared grill. Cook 10 minutes per side, basting frequently with remaining marinade. Continue cooking 20 minutes, or to desired doneness, turning occasionally.

Marinade in Lawry's Jamaican Jerk Marinade for an hour or so, and then bake at 375 for about 45 min... rebasting occasionally and turning them over as they bake.... You could also marinade in a teriyaki sauce (Kikkoman has really good ones)

My girlfriend from Kentucky and her husband love ribs cooked with a basting liquid of beer, salt and pepper.
At first it didn't sound good to me, but after I had it at their home I realized I was wrong.
Just slow cook ribs basting every 5 min. with the liquid, and you'll be suprised at the flavor, and no bbq sauce.

Not sure well something with it ..... Well i am sorry i could not help i can't eat them...

Baby Back Ribs with Jammy Glaze

--------------------------------------...

Ingredients**4 racks baby back pork ribs
3 tablespoons chili powder
1 teaspoon coarse salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
1 (10 ounce) jar seedless blackberry jam
1/4 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon steak sauce
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons hot sauce, or more to taste
Arrange the oven racks in the upper and lower thirds of the oven and preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Line 2 baking sheets with foil and arrange the rib racks, meaty side up.
Stir together the chili powder, salt and pepper and rub the mixture all over the ribs. Cover the ribs snugly with foil and bake on the upper shelf of the oven for 30 minutes, then move the ribs to the lower shelf and bake for 30 minutes more. Remove the foil and bake the ribs until fork-tender, 15 to 20 minutes more.
In a small saucepan, combine the jam, ketchup, steak sauce and vinegar. Cook over medium heat, stirring often, until the glaze comes to a boil, about 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in the hot sauce.
Preheat the broiler. Pour off any melted fat from the baking sheets to prevent flare-ups. Brush the glaze on the ribs and broil 6 to 8 inches from the heat source until crisp, about 2 minutes. Slice the racks into individual ribs.
