Cooking with bananas!?!
Answers: I have several 'brown' over ripe bananas. What are some different things i can cook/make with them? ALso any quick recipies.
u can slice the bananas and saute them with brown sugar and butter, serve over ice cream with toasted coconut
BANANA BREAD! MILKSHAKES! SMOOTHIES! Those are my favorite banana forms and they taste best when they're brown :)
make a banana pudding the recipe is on the nilla wafer cookie box . the recipe is easy and delicious.
Banana Cake
Make pancake batter (I just use a mix like Bisquick) add some of the mashed up bananas and make banana pancakes. You can also add nuts and or chocolate chips if you want. Make banana bread or banana muffins.
You can also stick them into freezer baggies, and use them in some of the other recipes at a later time....
Banana Bread is always a winner here.
Our House Recipie:
Ingredients
3 1/2 cups flour
3 cups sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 eggs
2/3 cup water
1 cup vegetable oil
2 cups bananas, mashed
1 cup pecans, chopped
Directions
1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2Combine ingredients in large mixing bowl.
3Pour batter into 2 prepared bread pans or 1 prepared bundt pan.
4Bake for 1 hour or until firm and golden brown.
5Cool on wire rack for at least 15 minutes before turning bread out onto tray.

1 cup gram flour
1 tablespoon cake flour
1 medium grated onion
1 teaspoon crushed cumin
2 tsp crushed coriander seeds
2 finely chopped green chilli's(optional)
1 tsp salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
some chopped fresh coriander/cilantro
Mix together in a bowl with enough water to make a thick 'pancake' like batter.Add in chopped bananas,mix.
Drop spoonfuls into well heated med.-deep oil.Don't crowd pan.Turn over when golden and cook the other side.Drain on paper towels,Serve hot.
