Has any one ever heard of cheese , (fromage) having a femenine and masculine gender in French cooking, if so,?!

Question: Why?

Answers: Why?

many times the french will refer to their food with gender...typically the stronger..... the smell, flavor, or punch if you will ...will be of the masculine variety...and the lesser being the feminine ...so with cheese...the more piquant...the more masculine...the more creamy(i know)...and...and light in flavor....feminine ....it's just like grading a wine...En Francais!!!!!

I think all nouns do, in the language that is, not cooking.
