yes you can use whatever can you have on hand creamed or whole kernel.

take some butter and melt it down in the pan about 2 tbsp or pats then add 1-2 tbsp of flour..mix together with a whisk for about 2 minutes or until its bubbling and starting to turn brown. Add some salt and pepper. Still while whisking..gradually add the milk until its thickened and you have enough milk for your soup. Add the can of corn and you will be done. depending on the sweetness you may need a tsp of sugar added.

*for me, I would add some cheese to this or even some of the cans of jalapenos and tomatoes and even some beans..its really good with cilantrol just a few sprigs chopped! *

This is what you need:

1 pint milk
1 can creamed corn
1 t. salt
1 T. flour
1 T. butter
1/2 pint whipped cream (optional)

I'm sure you'll have some salt.

I tried this once and it was not bad. So I bookmarked the site. So its tested and not googled :-)

just mix it all together, if you have onions and celeries toss it in! sound yummy to me!

There's a cool website called www.cookingbynumbers.com where you can enter the ingredients you have and it will give you recipes to make with them.

Good luck!!

yes, you can make soup with that. First make a roux by melting butter in a saucepan, adding a 1/2 cup of flour and cooking and stirring until smooth and light golden color. Add your milk, and cook and stir until it thickens up. Add your corn and seasonings (minced ham or red pepper would be good here if you have it) and that is a pretty simple soup! Grated cheese would be nice on top as well.
