Cake that taste like pizza?!

Question: I remember once in the Ellen Degeneres show, there was this cooking thing. And this guy make a cake but taste like pizza. There is also another food. A cake in a flower pot. Ellen commented that it looks like she's eating dirt. I'm looking for the recipe or the site.

Italians make a cake( or pie) called Pizza Rustica.
Its a combo of Ricotta Cheese, diced meats( like prosciutto, salami, ham) Mozzarella Cheese, Romano grated, chunks of mild Provolone,Parmigiano grated , eggs(add raw to the Ricotta), and black pepper.
You can make diffferent variations on this cake/pie.

Theres also one made with eggplants and bananas.
But the Pizza Rustica is really closer to pizza.

email me and I can send you the recipe! Report It

    Try the Ellen show website.

The cake in the flower pot is just a cake baked in a ceramic pot, covered in oreo and decorated to look like it came from the garden. You could also bake and ice a cake and then crumble the whole thing up to that you have even icing distribution; messy but yummy!

I've never heard of the pizza part.

I don't think that would agree my stomach.

Its that reallt wierd - no offense - unhealthy pizza flavoured super unhealthy cake. Errr... huh? It would make more sense if it was like pizza flavoured sprouts. That would be cool.
