I have a bundt cake and don't know how to use it!?!
Answers: I am looking for a good recipe. Can I just use a normal cake mix or does it need to be modified? Thanks for the help I really appreciate it.

You can use what ever cake mix or recipe you choose! I love bundt cake. It tastes best out of all cake types. I know that sounds funny but just like soda tastes different from a bottle and a can, cakes tastes different to me from different style pans and bundt is my favorite! The only thing really that's different is cooking times. Look on the box for details.
You can use any recipe you want. You'll probably have to increase the cooking time a little bit, so keep an eye on it. If you use box mixes they have the baking times on them for the different kinds of pans. Here's one of my favorite recipes:
INGREDIENTS
* 2 cups apples - peeled, cored and diced
* 1 tablespoon white sugar
* 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
------------------------------------
* 3 cups all-purpose flour
* 3 teaspoons baking powder
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 2 cups white sugar
* 1 cup vegetable oil
* 1/4 cup orange juice
* 2 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
* 4 eggs
* 1 cup chopped walnuts
* 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar for dusting
DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 10 inch Bundt or tube pan. In a medium bowl, combine the diced apples, 1 tablespoon white sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon; set aside. Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt; set aside.
2. In a large bowl, combine 2 cups white sugar, oil, orange juice, vanilla and eggs. Beat at high speed until smooth. Stir in flour mixture. Fold in chopped walnuts.
3. Pour 1/3 of the batter into prepared pan. Sprinkle with 1/2 of the apple mixture. Alternate layers of batter and filling, ending with batter.
4. Bake in preheated oven for 55 to 60 minutes, or until the top springs back when lightly touched. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack and cool completely. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar.
you can use any mix. in most cases you'll need to spray the pan, unless the mix says otherwise.
Note to Terlynn.....I read that recipe, and you say that's one of your favorites? Hmmmm...sound like my kind of girl....Are you married? If not, do you want to be? LOL

There's a basic bundt cake recipe on the side of some cake mixes. They call for a small box of instant pudding, and use slightly more oil and eggs than the standard cake mix. Use a complimentary pudding flavor for best results (Yellow cake mix - vanilla pudding, Devils Food cake mix - chocolate pudding, Lemon cake mix - lemon pudding.)
The resulting cake is heavier and moister than a normal cake - almost like a pound cake. Eat plain, or make a simple glaze with some powdered sugar, a few tablespoons of milk, and some flavoring (if desired.)
