Can you suggest some good seasonings for broccoli and cauliflower?!

Question: I have a pretty good assortment of spices and I'm trying to avoid any added fat.

Dill and lemon are lovely on both.

lemon pepper is great on broccoli. Cauliflower doesn't need any spices in my opinion, especially if it is steamed. A little salt would do the trick though if you are looking to put something on it.

a small bit of garlic salt & whit pepper
and top with hollindaise sauce or cheese sauce

One of my favorite recipes for the brocolli is to saute garlic in a little olive oil and squeeze in a half of lemon, salt and pepper. If you don't have fresh garlic, garlic salt/powder would work well.

Another recipe is to use balsamic vinegar, little olive oil and garlic over the cold brocolli as a cold side dish.

As we don't like cauliflower, the only recipe I have for that would be just browned butter with salt and pepper. Or if you have cheddar cheese available, make a cheese sauce.

bake them in the oven with other veg with a tablespoon of butter on them to melt in them...

its yummy!

with red onions quarted, chunky carrots, potatoes, n sweet potatoes......

accent salt its really healthy and it taste just like salt

Salt pepper and garlic salt with a little butter.

Try steaming the broccoli or cauliflower, then in a sauce pan and the salt pepper and garlic salt and a little white wine and sauté. You can use lemon juices as will as white wine

For broccoli, we use garlic salt, butter, and pepper. Sometimes though, especially when we are trying to cut down on fat but want flavor, we steam broccoli and toss in some Tabasco Sauce. It makes the broccoli a little spicy and gives it a slight pickled taste.

One of my favorite ways to make cauliflower is to cook the cauliflower in boiling salt water and drain. While cauliflower is cooking, heat chopped garlic and olive oil in a non stick pan. When the garlic is cooked, but not brown, and the oil is extremely hot, sprinkle in approximately a tablespoon of Paprika. Immediately add the cooked cauliflower and toss to coat. Top with Parmesan cheese. Delish!
